AMAZING tones with my Dinky Zinky!

Tonight I did a worship gig and used the Zinky Velvet and my stock Pearl Pink 1990 Carvin X220C. I was miced with a 909 and the only effect was a Boss DD-8. The more I play this amp the more I fall in love with the feel of it. The touch response and dynamics are unlike anything else I have ever played through.
GOD I love this little amp:naughty::cool2:!!

I'm pretty sure it's getting cold in hell if you're walking away from the Prosonics!

Re: AMAZING tones with my Dinky Zinky!

The Velvet and Prosonics are both Bruce Zinky designs. The Velvet is a handbuild from his personal boutique amp company without the corporate bean counters at Fender cutting corners. It's the evolution and next generation according to Bruce of his design concept for a workhorse real world gigging high gain rig starting with the Prosonic. Still love my Prosonic but it's a real flamethrower and a lot more powerful, aggressive, gritty and Metal toned where the Velvet is easier to control at low volumes super smooth and more open sounding. Both amps are keepers and which one I use depends on what and where I am playing.

here is another clip from last night. I wish I could figure out what's going on with my upload system to my computer as this sounds really lo-fi and nasty compared to the actual mini disk but you can get the feel and the idea.

A pair of the new TAD EL84's in the power section and I have Tungsol reissue's in the pre.
