I'm upgrading my gear, and want a new amp for my Epiphone SG-400 with a C8 bridge pickup.
I play mainly rock (90's stuff, alice in chains, soundgarden, pearl jam, tool, rage against the machine, even radiohead, etc), stoner rock, classic rock, psychodelic rock. I love to use distortion, fuzz... I don't want to sound metal any means. I like mids and bass more than high treble, and I want something versatile.
I want an amp preferably not over 40w but it's not a rule. I was looking at Orange amps (PiX CR35LDX) for the vintage sound, and them being high output but not metal, but not sure what to choose, or any other recommendations? Thanks
