Amp Help !!!

i'm going nuts here. first of all, as many of you know, i recently acquired the mesa 5:50 and love it quite a bit. unfortunately, i can't seem to get the MARSHALL TSL 122 out of my mind. i keep thinking about it and wanting to try it again and again. when i actually have it in my hands, it's a bit muddy and rude. when i'm not playing it though, i think about it.

i'm not sure what my infatuation is with that amp except that there's something about the buzzy marshall sound that attracts me. i'm at the point where i'm willing to return my mesa and get the tsl 122 or maybe even the 602 (although i think the 122 sounded a little better and clearer)!!!

i could use some help here. anyone???

There is a certain charm to Marshalls, I will admit. I've used Mesas exclusively for about the last 14 years, but every now and then, I think I want a Marshall.

In your case, you might consider looking for a JCM 2000 TSL HEAD--and then getting a cabinet that would serve both the Marshall head and your Mesa 5-50.

that's a good idea. there is a cable going to the speaker in my combo. i think that can plug right into a cabinet. after a couple of months, i might be able to get a great deal on a tsl head... hmm, thanks.
