Amp idea

Re: Amp idea

If Scott builds a amp to play dedicated 80's metal (without a stupid pedal in front of it), I will be all over it!

Re: Amp idea

How about getting into the small amp market? A tweed Champ clone with an extension cab jack would be really cool.

Re: Amp idea

i modded my deluxe reverbs normal channel to be a good crunch channel. not super high gain but a big boost compared to the vibrato. its not foot switchable but i use an a/b box to switch. im sure scott could build a brenna that does the same trick

I wonder if something similar to this but a little different could be done:

Its a take on the Fender Blackface style amp, with it's two channels. It would run KT66 power tubes, and have universal reverb (maybe vibrato). The first channel would have a Marshall plexi-style tone stack (T/M/B, maybe presence), the second one having a Fender Blackface-style tone stack. Either solid state or tube rectification, I'm not sure which would be best in this situation. Maybe tube for the extra sag to it.
