like, i gotta practice plugging the power cord in and out of the amp?
i thought you do that once and it stays.
i'm confused.
clean is nice and full, sweet sounding, but when i turn up the gain, the top end is all ****ed up. i think a tube is shot or something, cos when i swapped the V1 and V2 tubes the clean got realy thin and the top end was still all fizzy and it wasnt loud enough =/ bummer, but i guess i'll work it out.
if you overlook the fizzyness and not being THAT loud (and i mean gain at 8 and volume at 7.5) it realy rocks!
Swap out tubes and plug into the low sensitivity input. This should bypass V1. When the bad tube is in V1, you'll know which it is as the amp should sound normal.
