I've been pretty dissapointed with the sounds coming from the headphones on my Behringer V-Amp Pro. It was a good unit for recording with but I'm just not that satisfied with the sounds I get when I use it to practice and the tools available for it on the Mac are pretty rudimentary.
I like the idea of the POD XT, specifically the ability to name patches something intuitive has it over the POD 2.0 version to me and the tools for the Mac are there.
As a practice tool how is the POD XT? Should I be expecting to spend some serious coin for headphones for practicing? Could I use the unit along with my iPod to practice along with songs?
Thanks....
