Amp problems

I just installed a new eminence ramrod in my fender champion 30. I use a strat hh with a jb in the bridge and a 59 in the neck. When i play through my amp with the strat hh, amp distorts at the low e and with lower note power chords on the clean channel. When i use my regular strat, it seems fine. Are the humbuckers to powerful? I played it through my marshall mg10 and it was fine. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Amp problems

That could be a simple fact of your marshall having a higher headroom, and the fact that humbuckers usually have more output, or power, than single coils.

Re: Amp problems

i have a hh strat with a jb in the bridge and i play it through a POD. on a lot of clean channels, the jb will distort a little as well because of its output. that may very well be the case here. hope that helps.
