Yes sir.. went and traded my Laney VC50 in at the GC here in Lubbock this evening. Just wanted a different sound, with a true high gain tone. I tried both amps (6505 and Marshall DSL50) with my Jackson this time and the Marshall just couldnt deliver with anything but the classic high gain tone. The peavey basically gave me everything, especially with that ballsy chug tone and a nice lead tone to boot. I actually only took a $50 hit from my Laney, i couldnt believe they gave me as much as they did. Walked out the door with only paying $540 even. The guy thats been helping me said he already has to make two phone calls because he has people that are looking for a Laney. Only thing is I have to wait till mid next week, because I had to take the speakers out of my cab to put back into the combo to sell it! :smack: Now im waiting on an Eminence Governor and a Celestion G12T-75 to fill the void, then Ill be making some serious noise with..
