Need to mention one other store. Have used their guitar repair services, and I was very satisfied with the staff. I have never used the shop for this, but its worth passing on. Forgive me for cutting from their web site.

Third Coast Guitar Service is moving our Guitar Center repair shop on Monday, June 24th. The Guitar Center is hiring their own tech and that tech will not be affiliated with Third Coast, they will be a Guitar Center employee. We have partnered with Fix This! Musical Instrument Repair in Palatine to keep bringing you the best guitar and amp repair in the Northwest Suburbs.

John Slevira (formerly of both Parker and Gibson, Montana guitars) is still our managing guitar tech for this location and Fix This! is a family owned and operated business that we have been working with for a year now. Bonnie and her crew there are top notch, so if you know someone with a wood-wind or brass-wind instrument, this is the place to go!
