Amp used by Jeff Beck on "Cause We Ended as Lovers?"

For those of you who can remember, I know that Jeff Beck played the infamous TeleGib that Seymour built for him with the prototype JB/Jazz pickup combo but does anyone know which amp he used on the amazing "Cause We Ended as Lovers" on "Blow by Blow?"

I can't imagine it would be anything but a Marshall of some kind. But,....????

There is also a distortion pedal of some sort.

it was probably a jtm45 since thats what he frequently used in that era but havent seen anything concrete to know for sure

Are you able to recognize it from the shot at the beginning of the video?

Not emphatically sure, but some clues here...

According the "The History of Marshall" (Doyle), Mr. Beck used the plexi 50 watter (1987 model) for a long time.

IIRC, he also used a Colorsound Overdriver for a time.

(BTW, highly recommend "The History of Marshall" for all the Marshall-heads out there. They even include schematics!)

the version posted here is fairly recent, that bass player was born in 1986. the original version with the telegib was from 1975, hes using a strat in this video but you can see a small box four hole and large box more modern marshall. back in the 70's when it was recorded he was frequently using jtm45's as far as i know

Back then guitarists were not the cork sniffers they are now. Despite what he was using live at the time, it could have been whatever what available at Air Studios at the time. People did not lug around 2x12 combos and half stacks for studio gigs. They expected the studio to be equipped.
