Amps that you want but aren't in production

Re: Amps that you want but aren't in production

Oh, and I'd also like to see Marshall change their 2203x over to JMP cosmetics.

Ditto that, brutha. I'd kill for a JMP 2203 with a basket-weave slant cab.

I don't know if they are still in business......a nice Matchless Combo.

They reformed a few years ago and are cranking out amps. Mark Sampson is no longer part of the deal, but the designs are still solid and they seemed to have not missed a beat.

My Franklin 15 has a Matchless Lightning 15 as it's father. :)

My future Franklin 30 will be like the 12AX7 channel of the Matchless DC30.

For old Fender amps that are no longer in production, I can build one for anyone.

I guess it's a good thing I haven't filled out my location in my profile yet... :nervous:

Matchless changed hands from #1 owner Mark Sampson to #2 owner Phil Jamison sometime around 1999. There's no difference between them, although the Sampson era have a little bit more collectibility. The new Matchli are F'in amazing. I saw the new Avenger, Phoenix, and Independence models at the LA Amp Show.

Here's a picture of current owner, Phil Jamison at his booth.
