AMT DT2 Dist-Station

GREAT!

Not that noisy, though there is some hiss of course. The mid range is well chosen and the high and low pots do a great job. The low knob does a great job in particular.

The three mods are absolutely great. The Californian really makes me feel like I'm playing through a boogie, the British one is only subtly different though I do need to spend more time with it. The Tweed model is for low gain only but it's quite fat and gets pretty raunchy too.

Out of the three mic placements I only use one basically, same for the mods. Though I'll have to experiment with the mods more as I basically set it on hot wired hah :D

There is some cabinet modelling I believe? Either way my other sounds don't suffer from the inclusion of this pedal. If anything they get a little thicker? I'll have to build a looper pedal to test this out.

Anyway... great value and some real tones from this wee (it's really is tiny) box.

Re: AMT DT2 Dist-Station

Isn't it basically the same thing as the Tech 21 Sansamp at least features wise. Has anyone compared these two?

Re: AMT DT2 Dist-Station

Ok someone just gave me a loop box for repairs so once repaired I used it to check out the combo simulator.

It's slightly less bright and with less output than the bypassed tone I had without the AMT in. But it doesn't sound muffled or dull in any ways. Just... a little different. Not a HUGE difference but it's there.

I think I'll use a loop pedal for it.
