An early/buzzy FUZZ fans sound sample..."Blue's Theme"!

Some people finally posted "Blue's Theme" on youtube!

"Blue's Theme" by Davie Allan and the Arrows, was most famous for being used on Roger Corman's American International 1966 biker flick "The Wild Angels". This film predated Easy Rider. This by no means the earliest use of fuzz, but it is so much more up front than "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones 18 months to a couple of years earlier...or one of the earliest disputed: "The 2000 Pound Bee", by the Ventures.

The buzz-saw fuzz tone is in contrast to the later mellower/creamier/softer/compressed Hendrix tone. Davie is a bit murky on what he used, but he thinks it was the very early Gibson/Maestro unit, from what I gather. He doesn't come off as a gear sneak. He says he currently uses a Boss multipedal.
