I've been wanting a Suhr standard really bad for the last year! They play like nothing I've ever touched before - I'm almost to the point where I need to attend therapy to overcome the obsession, this didn't help!!! But thanks for the pics they're gorgeous guitars!!!

Suhr guitars are incredible. Honestly, I think the best guitars on the market are Suhr, Grosh, Tyler, Sadowsky, and Lentz.

I like them all! Some of the prettiest guitars I've ever seen. Wonder what pickups are in them? I know Mark Knopfler uses Fralin Vintage Hots in his Suhr Strat type guitars.

alot of them have Suhr pickups.
the guy makes awsome custom wound vintage style pickups, some of them very similar to JB's.

The Suhr guitars sure are pretty! ... I played one at 48th Street Custom Guitars (RIP) a couple summers ago -- it played amazingly well!

Not to my fingers, Neeradj -- I really like the 1-3/4" width at the nut. If I'm going to get a smaller size, I'll still go with a Wayne over the Suhr.

I've only played one Suhr, a limited edition chambered Strat-style guitar with ssh Suhr pickups. It is one of the sweetest sounding strat-type guitars I've ever heard.

Here's some that you mentioned, just so you can compare. I think it's going to be the 'new thing' Bolt-ons with no pickguard, nice top, and classic trem and electronics layout. Of course, it's nothing new, since this style was already popular in the 80's with painted finishes, but this is the new generation of that style of guitar. A classy comeback, perhaps?
