Introducing the Air Guitar....

Extremely lightweight, unbeliveable fret access.

Sycamore over Mahogany body, neck is Qld Maple/Tassie Myrtle, Laminated sides (5 laminates) Purple Heart, Tassie Myrtle, Curly Maple

Black Pearl finish

Truss rod cover is Gold flecked Onyx, Control cover is Turquoise.

Brierley BH16 pup, splittable through the volume

Schaller Roller bridge/String through Sperzel Pearl Lockers.

Seriously love this, particularly the outline of the bottom horn. How does the tone compare to the fully solid ones? What inspired you to do it this way?

So far, and it is very fresh, it has got lots of balls..

The inspriation came from bending timbers for the acoustic electrics..

Then I got a pencil out, and sort of built it from scratch really..

It's wonderful; I wish I was still in Oz, but then I would've had to order another :D.

I think you've gone to another level design wise - you've managed to keep what's characteristically yours but made something new at the same time, not as easy to do as it sounds.
