I have a question, what is the reason for using a roller bridge on a non trem guitar? I actually did that myself recently, but only because it was the only bridge I had!

I really like the way the rollers on the Schaller bridge allow for fine lateral spacing set up between the strings, also strings can still tend to get caught in a standard TOM style bridge. Pinging at the saddles is the symptom of this, we have all heard it at the nut, but I have also heard it at a poorly cut TOM saddle. And Schaller really make quality stuff, the plating and tooling is first class.
