well, i got my brobucker (exactly 10k, 30 gauss ) and a set of SSL-1s are on their way. I'm wondering, in an HSS, does the rw/rp go in the neck, or the mid position.

Also, I'm replacing all the screws on it with black screws, I'm going for a "midnight" look without all the little gleamy dots of chrome running amok on it. Now if only I could find a black Am Std bridge to go with all this blackout parts...

If you split a (Duncan) humbucker to the stud coil, you pair it with a non-rw/rp pup for noise cancelling. In other words, a "neck" version.
