I don't have any pictures but the original poles were not glossy like they are now -- they were flat black anodized. I think they were a bit lower too, with a more smooth curve on the top viewed from the side.

They are now. I don't know when they changed, but it was at least 7-8 years ago.

The only difference i see is the smoother curve, then again my uncles invader is extremely rusted so I can't see the flat black. By the way what year did Duncans first get logos?

i have a set of shredders that are older..not sure how old..but the screw tops were a bit rusty..indeed , they were black originally and flat but rounded edge. i had to sand them down a bit to get the rust off and took some of the black off, but i think i'm going to reblack them sometime.
