I thought he uses the Seymour Duncan Sh-4..he changed?
Anyway..he played the JB in the past and I think his sound was neat.

I thought Andy always used the Dimarzio Double Whammy. That pickup is still available and it rocks!! Loaded with mids and harmonics!

He uses DiMarzio DP186 singel coils and a Ibanez AT1 humbucker. At least on the new guitar. Dont know what SD got with that sound, though.
