I changed the stock speaker to a Celestion V Type a while back (to accommodate all sorts of pedals) and now I changed the stock tube to a EHX 12ax7.
Worlds of difference:
1. The clean channel sounds chimier and crunches very smoothly at the highest setting.
2. The OD 1 sounds fatter but still bluesy
3. The OD 2 sounds like a smoother JCM at 3 o'clock gain and like an uberschall pedal at max gain. Very tight and smooth.
