that's right..delving into the world of big hair metal with this one..lol...using my esp loaded with the new JB trembucker again...different patch on my vetta though..sounds a little more tubey, at least I think so...almost reminds me of powerslave kinda tone...

ANYWAY, I came up with this in about half a minute..so don't be too harsh..lol

you kiddin'? I'm a throwback to the 80's, dude..lol..Thansk for noticing the improved tone..yeah, gettin' a little better with it..thekey is to tweak the tone through the direct outs through my computer speakers, NOT the vetta's speaker cabinets (you can turn them off)..this way you can hear what it'll pretty much sound like recorded...which is totally different than what's commin' outta the cabinets..so you almost have to have two versions of the same tone, know what I mean?

I think I'm gonna flesh out this song a little more and then slap a lead on it..come up with another couple parts..a guy on the vetta boards from LA put down a bass line and durms to the little bit there already is..lol..sounds cool as hell

Grew up with Number of the beast and other old albums.....we heard that stuff at a lot of parties :alcoholic :friday: :headbang:

Oh that's madness, I was just going to compliment you on the tone - because it reminded me of Maiden! The first two palm muted open A's made me think of 'Two Minutes to Midnight'! Killer tone! The first good metal tone I've heard on these boards.

thanks, man! that's what it reminded me of to...I wasn't intending to get it to sound like that but it sounded pretty good so I didn't mess with it any further =D tracked pretty good I think...has a nice cut to it..

I was born in the wrong era :-(
Growing up when the only thing on the radio is rap, hip hop, and every other talentless form of music (hell, who am i kidding, its not music) plainly sucks ass.
By the way.. nice playing! Fantastic tone too.. i wish i could get my stuff to sound like that :lol:
