The extra wires of a humbucker give you options, but you don't have to use them. You can wire it up like an ordinary 2-wire pup. Connect green and bare together and treat that as the ground. Connect red and white together and tape them off so they don't touch anything. Use black for hot.
Now there is one potential problem. If you're using this with stock singles, the new pup may be out-of-phase. In that case, you would need to reverse the green and black, like so:
Black and bare to ground.
Red and white taped off.
Green to the switch. (Hot.)

Yo! Glad I asked! Can you tell what the heck this means (and kindly excuse my ongoing dumbness): "If you're using this with stock singles". It's a Mexican Strat. The objective is to swap out the neck single coil and put in the Lil 59. Does that clarify in any way?

Not so much that you don't have to use the wires, just that you don't have to use the wiring options. To use a humbucker as you would a single, you need to do what Artie says... wiring diagrams are available on the main Seymour Duncan website.

That is probably what you're looking for. It's very similar anyway; just switch the humbucker's wiring with the neck pickup's.
