another help me choose thread

i have a mim strat and im replacing the stock pickups. ive added a pearly gates trembucker to the bridge as i like playing heavier stuff but i also dont want to totally lose that stratty sound. i really need help deciding on which single coils to get for the bridge and neck. any suggestions? i'm trying to keep it as versatile as possible.

Since the PG is a alnico II pickups, maybe you'd like a pair of APS-1's? They're similar to the SSL-1's but with alnico 2 polepieces. Lew

thanks ok yeh i think i'm gonna go for them.
but can someone explain the difference between staggered / flat? and what reverse wound is? should I be getting both staggered? and the mid reverse wound?
