Those pickups have been in his high end ESP's for a couple years now. I think they are just an ESP exclusive deal and will not be marketed. ESP has had a few "signature" 'Duncans in their models over the past few years that we never saw turn into a production model. I am betting the new Lynch pickup will be like that as well. I guess you never know though....

Alex has a pretty diverse set of tones he uses, so that is what makes these interesting to me. I honestly hadn't heard about them until this thread, though.

I talked to Alex about this earlier in the year on the 70000 tons of metal cruise. He said that the pickups are a somewhat hotter JB. He said they would be available to the public sometime this year but that doesnt seem to have transpired. He was eating dinner and didnt want to chat his ear off.

You can get a Blackie13 signature JB if you want one. You just have to send the Custom Shop 160 bucks

nice looking axe!!! If I had some $$, Id consider getting the LTD version. It has the JB/59 combo.. A WHOLE lot less $$

Funny, you see alot of JB grumbling, but its one of the most widely used cuz its such a good all arounder. And, seems to be a great starting point for all these sig models..
