Re: Another Quick DITTO Review
Shameless bump for an addendum to my review.
I do a little recording into Reaper and listening to the tracks I lay down is always eye-opening. On rare occasions I hear something good and wonder how to do it again, but more often I am disappointed with my timing. Especially, when I am improvising, I hear gaps and late starts that scream where am I going now.
That said, with the Ditto, I am able to hear the those types of mistakes "live", erase and re-record with a great deal of ease. There is something about taking a test and getting immediate results that promotes learning. This pedal is really fun and I can see how my playing will benefit from using it. I definitely want to master it for live use. It is fully capable. Well, the Pigtronix unit would probably suit me better for live use, but I'm in no position to lay down that kind of coin right now.
I loves me Ditto.
Re: Learning Enhanced by Immediate Feedback - This was confirmed in a double blind experiment back in 1971 when I was a clinical psychologist. The results were statistically significant. Press me for details and I will bend the truth even further.
