Another simple wiring question.

***My plan A wasn't possible so here comes plan B!***
Now then if we ditch the idea of splitting the bridge humbucker, how would I achieve the "tone control active for neck and middle pickup only" idea from the original plan?

Re: Another simple wiring question.

The problem is, you use the "other" side of the switch for tone control selection. On that diagram, the "other" side of the switch is being used for splitting. Let me think about this for a minute, but I'm not sure you can do both functions at once. (I don't think so.)

Edit: Nope, you can't. Its either tone selection or splitting. Not both. Sorry.

Ack, well thanks for the help anyway. :smack:

Well then, I edited my original post to only concern the tone controling problem... Any ideas how I would achieve that? :fingersx:

Re: Another simple wiring question.

Cool. Now its easy. See that little black wire that connects the tone control to the volume control. Disconnect it from the volume control and connect it to the two 5-way switch lugs that are closest to the tone pot. Thats the two on the bottom right of that pick.

Make sense?
