Another SX Tele question

Sorry about asking so many questions about so cheap an instrument...

Will a MIM Fender Tele neck fit an SX Tele body?

it should. I'll do a little googling and find out the exact specs and get back to you.

everything looks like it checks out. The onlything that might not work are the neck holes. YOu might have to drill new ones. But other than that, it seems as if it will fit.

You don't think the thinner body would affect anything?

I just got a reply back from Robdo about this issue. Kurt there said that he couldn't say for sure, but that he doubted it would be an exact fit. He may have just been referring to the neck holes, though, like you mentioned. I'll ask him.

Just got another reply: He said he doesn't think that the size would be right. I assume he means the size of the heel. That could present problems, depending on whehter the Fender neck is too big or too small. To big and it could be shaved down to fit. To small and it's too loose a fit in the pocket.
