Ant 2 Surfers. No load pot for bridge - experiences?

Hi guys,

before starting to solder I am wondering if anyone has experience with the following set-up:
I am planning to wire a set of Ant 2 Surfers with the Custom surfer in the bridge.
My Am St Strat was wired with one regular tone pot and the tone pot for the bridge is a no load.
I find the bridge position with the stock pickups rather bright.
Anyone with the Custom Surfer in the bridge got experience/comment on no-load vs regular tone pot?

Many thanks in advance :)

Not the Surfer (Though I have used them in the past), but no tone control (or no load) on a single coil IMO is too bright.

I am running it with the a dedicated tone pot that usually is dialed to 8-9 to remove some ice peak (with a .047 mF cap) so, yes, I found it really bright.
As other said, no-load pot for such a bright pickup couldn't be a good idea.

I have Ant2/Ant2/Twangbanger pickuos and a No-Load tone control in my Fender AVRI '62 Stratocaster. I like what the NL does to the Twangbanger. I desire a hint of the "ice pick in the forehead" sound.
