Antiquity ebay score...which guitar?

I recently scored a set of antiquity texas hots on ebay for a great price. Does anyone have any experience if they work better in alder or swamp ash strats? Or it doesnt matter? Just kinda wondering if there are any strong opinions out there. Im not looking for in general, A2 mags work better in "_____". Looking for opinions on these specific pups. I know its all ballpark at best anyway but at least ill have a starting point since i have a bunch of strats and ive only ever used the antiquity surfers.

The TH's sound a bit more 'down and dirty' than the Surfers....which tend to be more polite. I'd think a light ash strat could be a great place to put them in (in theory). I had an Ash G&L which had a lot of pickups put in it over the years. The TH's seemed to suit the best, but the guitar was a bit dull unfortunately.
