Re: Antiquity I Texas Hot FS

Dang I would buy it, but I'm getting a calibrated set. (Did you ever make any more recordings with it?)

Re: Antiquity I Texas Hot FS

oh yea, sorry about that PM........ i reformated my computer the other day and all the recordings from that folder were lost, so i dont have anymore sorry

i do know that this is 6.37 k.......if that means anything for you calibration

Re: Antiquity I Texas Hot FS

I'm thinking about getting a new acoustic rather than new pups, but do you think that just 1 Texas Hot neck combined w/ my stock middle and stock humbucker in the bridge would work alright in my MIM?

Re: Antiquity I Texas Hot FS

regular wind......6.37k, have box, papers and all that......white sticker on bottom with seymours signature on it, and leads have not been cut, still full length

idk man, ive have 2 cases where fender and duncan did not work at all, no matter how the wires were flipped.........and ive had one case where flipping wires did put them in phase and humcancelling........so i have no idea really :smack:

Re: Antiquity I Texas Hot FS

i put mine in a MIJ strat with no worries.. hmm...

and it's for the neck, so i'm willing to bet its regular wind.. RW/RP is usually for the middle pos..

Re: Antiquity I Texas Hot FS

arent the texas hots rwrp to the surfers? I wish i could put this in neck, but there won't be hum cancelling i don't think. Someone chime in on this.

I currently have a calibrated set of surfers in my strat and the tone is incredible. I just want to give alnico II a go, especially now that im getting into the SRV tone alot.

Would you be interested in a swap for a surfer neck pickup perhaps?

Re: Antiquity I Texas Hot FS

ive found a pickup that i like for the neck, and ive already had the surfer neck pickup.......i do know that the surfer combined in standard wiring with the rwrp APS middle was out of phase, but the texas hot was not (wasnt humcancelling either)......so im guessing that they are reverse of eachother.......theres still a good chance that you could get them to be humcancelling however, ask Lew maybe

if your looking for SRV, the texas hot is it
