Greetings,,, What's the string spacing, from e to E,,, & did they come only one size? TB or not?
Many thanks ॐ

no trem spaced antiquity buckers as far as i know. whatever normal duncan bridge and neck spacing. also, ive never seen an antiquity II humbucker, only the aged a2 antiquity I series. i think they are fantastic pups and they take mag swaps very well.

AFAIK the Ant humbuckers are all vintage-spaced and single conductor/braided shield wire.
Not sure but you might be able to get a 4-wire version made as a shop floor custom.
I think for a trem-spaced one you'd almost certainly need to order it through the Custom Shop.

Got the Ant H'bucker & I love it!!... Before we break up this thread, what single coil (prob noiseless) would most emulate the Antiquity H'bucker...? Or is that comparison futile? I'm very fond of Lil'59's & I even own a Lil'78, but w/o the luxury of an immediate side by side, memory tells me that they're a different animal?? MINCER, I know you're big on the stacked STK's, which I plan to try, but I'm mean a bucker'ish
SC...? Thnx guysॐ

they are a different animal for sure, ive never found a single coil sized bucker that sounds like a full sized bucker. the stk line sounds much more single coil like

Well, I'd say the Cool Rails is about the closest, and even then it is still not quite there. Besides the sound of the Antiquity, the other big issue is that it isn't potted, so it is extremely touch-sensitive, which is wonderful if your style depends on that.

I hope this isn't a red herring, but the red devils were designed to be as close as possible to a PAF in a single coil size according to the blurb.

Never having played either I would guess they have more mids than an antiquity HB though.

the red devils do indeed have more mids than the antiquitys. the ants are pretty clear, low output, and open sounding. the red devils are fatter, thicker, and less open on the top. fun sounding pups though
