antiquity in neck, what in bridge?

Re: antiquity in neck, what in bridge?

A PG in the bridge would match up just fine if that's the tone you're looking for. Out of curiosity, why not an Antiquity in the bridge?

welcome to the forum!!

what tones are you looking for? if you want some zz top sizzle in the bridge the pg is a great choice. one of my favorites!!

Re: antiquity in neck, what in bridge?

I seth is a good match as is the Pearly Gates and don't forget about another Antiquity!

The Ant and the PG are my fav 2 Duncan buckers ever...I have a set of PG's in my Moderne and a set of Ants in my R8 both or the Seth would be a fine choice as weould a 59 if you wanted something a little Jimmy Page like in the bridge.

Re: antiquity in neck, what in bridge?

I'm not sure what tone I'm look for yet . I know I like the ant in the neck and I know I hate the gibson cremics. my band plays alot allman bros., led zeb, a little dead, some gov,t mule , basicly classic rock. I use a fender hot rod deluxe, with an elec. harm. english muff for marshall tone :laugh2:

Re: antiquity in neck, what in bridge?

Warren Haynes uses PG's in some of his guitars. Why not another Antiquity? Seth would work too.
