Hey guys
I was just minutes away from ordering a set of Antiquity P-90's by phone and saw on the spec sheet that the covers are only 0.360" high.
On my Les Paul The PUps stick out a long way.
I notice that the Seymour Duncan Vintage SP90-1 specs say that it has a slighly taller 'vintage correct' height spec of .745"
So for some weird reason the Antiquity pickup covers are only half as tall (deep...thick) as standard vintage p-90 covers and my stock pickups are exposed higher from my guitars body than the actual depth of the Antiquity covers?
Why has Seymour made the 'ultimate' vintage P-90... that he says looks and smells and tastes like a 35 year old pickup... but it doesn't fit vintage spec guitars?
So If I pay extra money for that vintage sweet aged antiquity sound.... I will have a big 1/4 inch hole where my pickup cover doesn't fit?
Any suggestions?
Anyone struck this problem before?
Can I get the Antiquitys supplied with the SP09-1 covers?
Paspallum
