Antiquity P-Bass - Question

So I´m about to try out a new pickup for my fender Precision and I´ve decided on a seymour duncan. What I really want is an Antiwuity pickup for a real vintage sound as the DiMarzio my bass has now is really not cutting it for my needs.

I went to my local store today only to find out there are two options for a P-Bass, Antiquity I or Antiquity II. The salespersons didn´t have a clue what the difference is between the two so I decided to ask You guys before I buy.

So, what´s the difference between the two pickups? Any help would be much appreciated..

In general, Antiquity Is are Alnico 2, and Antiquity IIs are Alnico 5.

However, it's not really spelled out on the Antiquity page:

basically, it's Antiquity = vintage 50s, and Antiquity II = vintage 60s tone.

But what would the tonal/output difference be between the 50´s and 60´s models? My bass is a ´64 so which one would You guys recommend?

honestly, I'm not really sure about bass, but on the guitar pickups, the Antiquities tend to be a little warmer sounding, and the Antiquity IIs tend to be brighter.

Personally, I prefer the Antiquity I's for a "true" vintage sound in a p bass. The Antiquitie II's I think sound better in the older 70's fender p basses made out of hard ash.
