Jomo's Nimions
If you're like me and love the sound of a P/J with a little more P than J, this is a spectacular combo. I'd been running my J volume backed off a bit, so after installing the QP Jazz bridge, I tweaked the pickup heights to sound like that with both volumes on full. It's one of the most expansive tones I've ever heard from an electric instrument. A lot of active presence, but all the organic passiveness. Kinda like when you're running two amps, and you hit on the perfect placement and settings on both.
Sounds killer for all the punk or Tool stuff with a pick, but still extremely responsive to fingers/plucking/strumming/thumping/popping.
I was sort of expecting it to be sort of like a '59/JB combo in a guitar, but it's so, so much better.
