Antiquity vs Seth Lover Humbucker

Does anyone know of a link that compares the Antiquity to the Seth Lover or would anyone of you Tonehounds like to give your opinion? The SD site has no sound sample for the Antiquity.

The Antiquity is a little more complex and textured sounding, IMO. Also a little more breath or air or a hollow quality to the tone.

Both great pickups!

Lew's right. They're both great pups. The Antiquity is more complex sounding and really nails the true PAF tone well. The Seth, I've always felt, has more of a bite to the initial attack. It may have more of a pronounced midrange too. Can't go wrong with either one.

IMO, the Ants have a bit more woodiness, sizzle, and resonance compared to the Seths.

All of the above is true, but if your're cheap (Like me :) ) the Seth's are where it's at, as far as true PAF tones go.

Think of the Antiquities as being an Acura TSX and the Seth's as a Honda Accord. Of course the ACura is nicer, but the Accord will still get you there. :burnout:
