Thanks for letting me join your forum.

I'm getting back into playing after many years and have just bought an EVH 5150III LBXII 15w head.

I'm after a bit of advice from you guys as to cabs? It'll be 90% "man cave" playing at home volumes.
I'm into the whole 80's rock/metal thing and my main guitar is a Charvel San Dimas loaded with a 59 in the neck and a JB in the bridge.

Obviously I've looked at the matching EVH 112 & 212 though have not tried a 112 yet as I can't find any here in SW England to try!
The EVH 212 sounded great (loaded with G12H Anniversaries) but I just wondered if anyone has found any other cabs that shine with this amp?
I read the Vintage 30 loaded cabs can make the amp sound harsh?

Any tips or advice would be great.
Cheers :headbang:

Speakers really are half of your tone, so listen to all the Celestion shootouts on youtube.
I have a bunch of cabs, each loaded with different Celestions.
G75T has deep tight lows, neutral mids, and crunchy highs.
H30-70th Ann has vintagey bouncy lows, thick low mids, and crunchy top end.
V30's have tight lows, strident cutting upper mids, and less crunchy top.
