Am playing a couple worship sets every few weeks with a couple of acoustic players and this one looks interesting. A lot of times that ambient wash thing can be useful in want I do but is it only a one trick pony? Have a Blue Sly and also a Neunaber Seraphim that have shimmer settings but this seems different. Have yet to get the chance to work with one in parson. In particular the ability to use the expression pedal to hold a pad tone then play over it would be useful is a small setting with a couple acoustic players. Have resisted the ambient tones thing to this point but it has its place in what I do for sure.
Would use it for these things in worship settings.

I had a Night Sky for a little while. But the Fractal was able to duplicate my favorite settings, so I wound up selling it.

I have a Blue Sky on one of my boards now. The Cloud algorithm is different and what's in the Cloudburst is unique to that petal.
I'm looking at it specifically to use in settings where I'm the only electric player with a couple acoustic players. I have a couple folks I gig with regularly doing small group setting stuff.
