I use a Ibanez RGA7 with DiMarzio Crunch Lab and LiquiFire pickups!



I play metal with my 7 string right now, I am planning to pick up a Jackson SLATFXMG3-8 (8 string) to play more of the clean tapping stuff.

Of course, as you add more strings, it gets harder to play polyphonic music- and you are never nearly as good as a decent keyboard player.
