Any humbucker suggestions for a Stratocaster?

Re: Any humbucker suggestions for a Stratocaster?

Those Les Paul clips don't really help picking a humbucker for a tremolo'ed Strat. Or a hardtail Strat for that matter.

They are there so one can hear the tonal differences between pickups though.Ultimately someone has to experiment and learn to trust their own ears, after all is said and done...We can guide, but it's that person's ears and setup that dictates what works and what doesn't....Savvy?

PATB-3 Blues Trembucker is what you want.

That's my pick as well.

Used a CC for quite a long time, have done some minor mods to get over the issue that STRATDELUXER97 is talking about. Alnico 3 magnets and/or using allen head instead of the screws corresponding to non-wound strings work. Yet, ... Make sure to check a PATB-3. It is one of the absolute best pickups that Duncan produces.

Here is more on that:

Hm. I sense a stroky beard consideration period in my near future.

My spider sense tells me I'll very likely try a PATB-3 in my strat this summer, though. Thanks guys. :) Does it split well?
