Any idea what the impedence on Marshall 1960's carb speakers are?

Celestion G12T-75's is all I know, but they come in all different impedences so not sure exactly, i think it might be 8

I at least knew what the speakers were. Not sure on the impedence though. I might just have to overcome my laziness after all.

If it's a 1960A or B with G12T-75's, the impedance of each speaker is probably 16 ohms. I think that's how they've been coming out of the factory for years, and is definately what they're putting out now.

That's exactly it, a 1960B with the G12T-75's. Sweet, now I know what kind of V-30 I'll be getting. :D

Re: Any idea what the impedence on Marshall 1960's carb speakers are?

All are 16 ohm, and the sum of the cab is 16 ohm. The cab is wired series/parallel, so 2 16ohm speakers in parallel = 8 ohms. Then those two 8 ohm sides are run in series, which doubles the number to 16 ohm total.

That is correct: 16 ohms per speaker. Then the speakers are wired in a series/parallel combination so that the impedence of the cabinet is also 16 ohms.
