Any idea what was "Seymourized" on my T-Top pickup?

My mid '70s Gibson T-Top pickup has a silver Seymourized sticker on it, and "1128" written on the sticker. Te cover was soldered on when I got it, and the rosin was over the edge of the sticker, like it still is in the first picture.

It is either an early 498T, or was rewound to a Duncan spec - it measures 14.09k, so it is much higher than a typical T-Top.

Does anyone have info on what "1128" means? Does the tape indicate, or rule out a repair at Duncan? Was Duncan installing covers back then to exposed coil Gibson pickups? That's assuming Gibson had exposed coil zebra 498T pickups between when patent stickers ended and they began writing on the back plate.

Back in the day the term "seymourized" usually (always?) referred to rewinding a awg42 coil with awg43.

Along the lines of a modern CC or the SSL5/6.

Is there any easy way for me to tell what kind of magnet is in it? The original magnet would have been Alnico 5. Would it likely have been switched if rewound, or did I find a 1970s Custom 5?

The Duncan Company started in mid '70s, so you might be right...

Seymourized back then meant it had been repaired or rewound, but it could have been anything...

Whats the DC resistance now??

It's clearly stated in the OP, and I quote:

hard to say what magnet but id guess the stock a5. cool pup!

That is one awesome piece of history if it's an early Seymour rewind. It could have been "unwound" on one of his hand made machines, to record the original specs of that pickup, etc. What a cool time that must have been. If it was before they had bobbins made, then it represents the only way you could get a Seymour Duncan humbucker at that time-as a rewind.

I have no idea how long they used the sticker though, it could be an 80's rewind as well, and they just wound a "Custom" wind on it. But in that case if it's an A2 it's like a Custom Custom, and if it's A5 it's like a Custom 5. It's just as likely he would've replaced the magnet during rewind vs keep the original, so it would require analysis. Awesome find.

Is there a list somewhere that indicates what "1128" means, in terms of a date, or seymourization? I looked through older posts, but haven't seen any with a number. Has anyone ever posted one with a number along with a story about when the pickup went to Duncan?

Frank, what kind of analysis? Pulling the magnet for a visual inspection, or sending it somewhere? You mentioned the original specs of the pickup may have been logged, if rewound. Is that what the 1128 is, a reference to an old list?
