I have a HSS Stratocaster pickguard on which I have installed a Seymour Duncan P-Rails bridge pickup, along with a Seymour Duncan Triple Shot switching ring.

The pickguard is a 4-ply mint/black/mint/tortoise Stewart MacDonald guard, routed for HSS and standard screw layout. It is on a 1996 American Standard Stratocaster now.

The reason I'm curious if anyone is interested in it, is that I had to file the pickguard in order to fit the ribbon connector that runs between the Triple Shot and the P-Rails, as well as drill the pickguard to accept the screws that mount the body of the Triple Shot ring. All of this work was done with care and patience, is clean, and is invisible with the ring and pickup installed.

But, with these modifications made to the pickguard, I'm fairly certain that nobody would want to buy the pickguard separately, and I figure somebody might be attracted to the idea of a P-Rails / Triple Shot on a Stratocaster, with the hard part already taken care of.

As far as I know, this is the first P-Rails / Triple Shot Strat of all time --- so you could be a part of history!

The idea of a P-Rails in a Stratocaster is kind of perfect, actually, you can get your Strat bridge and Strat notch sounds, your full on humbucker sounds, your parallel humbucker sounds (which pair well in the notch position) and of course, the holy grail of rock tone, P90 bridge sounds.

I loved it in my guitar, but I am taking this guitar back to bone stock as a matter of sentimental origin. (back to the stock neck, pickups, everything!)

Let me know if you are interested. If I secure a buyer, we will negotiate a price and I will pull the guard combo same-day and ship it USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation the next day.

Single coils, switch, pots, caps not included. Just the Pickguard, P-Rails pickup, and Triple Shot switching ring.[/SIZE]

Love,
Hunter

P.S. If you have any other questions, ask!

I got the pickguard and Triple Shot and P-Rails off of my Stratocaster last night --- I have decided to go ahead and offer it up for sale; I don't have the need for it any longer.

$125 shipped, PayPal only.
