Any klon(e) lovers here? How do you use yours?

Build the little gold pedal myself and its amazing, played through it tonight and when I found the perfect setting...wow! Found my tone, yay :). The magical setting for me ended up being drive at 10/11 ish, level at 2 o clock and treble at 3, it works on clean, crunch and gain channel on the amp for me in this setting. I'm curious how you guys use your gold blocks!

I have a Wampler Tumnus on my board, and thus far the magical setting has been gain & tone at 9 o'clock and volume at 12 o'clock. I'm running it exclusively through the gain channel of a Marshall Jubilee (both 2525H & 2555).

Close to your settings, a little less gain, and a little more Level - mine is a BYOC Silver Pony so based off the silver Klon.

Tone City Bad Horse. Still trying to figure it out. Doesn't play with my amp as well as I had hoped, but that's really more the amp's fault than the pedal's.

I've played a couple and my favorite is the Rock Your Repaired Amp Klone. I run all knobs in the 10-11 o clock range into a Marshall DSL50 with a quad of Greenback and with a LP Jr it's thick and raunchy leads.

I have owned several AF-1 Aluminum Falcons and briefly, a Soul Food.

Now I have a real Klon. A Klon KTR.

I set it so I can leave it on all the time and use my Strat's volume control to go from clean to overdriven.

I only use it with my Strat or Tele to make it sound more like it has PAF humbuckers.

My guitars with humbuckers don't need it.

Close to your settings but my level is lower. Curious ... did you use a log taper pot for the level control?

Another Wampler Tumnus user. I have mine set at 10 o clock for gain/vol and Treble 12-1.

Some people prefer using log yes, I just went for what the original uses.

I'm using an EHX Soul Food with my Vox AC10C1. All three knobs on the Soul Food at 1:00, Vox's gain just at the point of breakup. Goes from clean to mean to scream using the guitar's volume knob.
