Any known frontload/rearload trick to build switchable 410/412 cab (same baffle)?

this.

Getting my birch ply cut for my 6262 rehousing, I "accidentally" - on autopilot really - managed to get a thinline 412 / oversize 410 cab neatly cut out of the leftovers... 28 * 28 * 11, afair. Enough leatherette and grille leftovers to squeeze it in, too. Nice freebie, even if the dimensions are really pushing the bottom limits. On the bright side, it'll make a STRAIGHT TOP cab thatd sit nicely on top of a slant, and its not really AS cramped as itd seem, since dimensions resemble the top half of any old angled cab.... Half-open could be an option too.

Now, with space that tight, frontloading already sounds tempting for the twelves, but then again, it just seems to be a better fit for 10s.... Which unfortunately are kinda uncommon, at least in used deals/trades. Sooo, is there any trick way of making it take both or either, without any modifications and full ability to mix and match any 1-4 tens and 1-4 twelves? Possibly utilizing that very frontload 12s / rearload 10s thing, seeing as cones taper down to the rear??

PS i just dont have any tens on hand or readily available to experiment, hence the asking

I've seen (and can't remember where) rings/donuts for sale whose inside hole is for the smaller speaker and with enough OD to use existing holes or studs for the larger speaker. Should be easy enough to make out of plywood....could be put in either the front or rear depending on space to the grill. I'm thinking the ones I saw were made of metal though.

I figured a proper sized exterior spacer might make a frontloaded 12, bolted to the spacer, have the "same profile" protruding through the hole into the cab (or smaller, likely smaller!) as a 10 rearmounted inside the cab...

At its butt end, a Celestion 12 is roughly 6.5" across (or at least both v30 and c90 models are), which can certainly fit inside a cutout for mounting 10s, and probably even 8s if taken to the ridiculous extreme....see what I mean by frontload spacer? Something to offset it further forward from the board

heck
split the difference
2 12's and 2 10's

offset the speakers
12 10
10 12

switch between
2x12
2x10
all 4

If there's enough clearance between the face of the speaker and the grillcloth should work.,
