Nostalgic Distortion

Hay guys, just looking for some general impressions of this particular little juice box...
I'm looking to add some VOX chime back into my amp collection but space and money are tight at the moment so this seemed like a good fit. At one point I actually had oodles of VOX amps (a vintage AC-30 with ALINCO Blues, a more recent AC-15C2 2X12 with a pair of Greenbacks, & a recent AC-30C2 also with Greenbacks) but when we found out that we were having another youngster I downsized my amp & guitar collection considerably!!!
I did keep my vintage 1966 AC-30 but mostly as a collectors piece? It sounds great (albeit a little bit noisy) but I very rarely play through it anymore & it's not even in my house currently. I've been keeping it in storage with some of my other gear that I don't really use enough to justify keeping in the house but can't stand the thought of selling it off!!!
Originally I was looking into the AC-4 Bronco's that recently came out with a 12in speaker in them but the cost difference between them & the AC-10's is fairly minimal. Plus it just seems to me that the AC-10 offers a bit more bang for your buck???

It's only 12lbs which is nice, cathode biased, & they run reasonably cool. All of these things are checks in the plus column for me as I live several hundred miles from anything that even remotely resembles a qualified amp tech & tube amps are scary once you've been bit by one so I try to stay out of them if at all possible!!!
Personally I think that the Mid knob is pretty important feature for true Top Boost tone and the onboard reverb is also a nice tool for the box! I know it's not the greatest reverb in the world but from what I've gathered in video demos & reviews it can be quite nice when used in moderation (kinda like every other VOX-AC) & if I don't love it my M300 can always assume it's place...
I generally love 1X10's & 2X10's so the size of the speaker isn't a big deal & if it becomes one I'll just run it into my 2X12 external 16ohm cabinet loaded with Creamback's. I'm mostly looking for something that I can use around the house without pi$$ing off the neighborhood, as well as something that I can get decent vintage tube distortion from at volumes that aren't just crazy!!!
Because I haven't actually gotten to physically try one myself I was hoping you guys could give me some of your impressions if you have? Also whatever you can tell me how about how it compares with or differs from the AC-15C1 would be fantastic!!!
THANKS!!!!
