Any opinions on Jensen MOD series speakers?

I'm considering getting a Jensen MOD 12-35 or 12-50 to replace the stock speaker in a Kustom 1x12 cabinet.

I've read some reviews that say they have a good but fairly neutral sound, but others saying they are too bright and icepicky, just wondered what anyone here thinks.

I've got a pair of 10-70's and they're pretty cool...nice big, thick, full sound, very evenly balanced & the highs are'nt icepicky at all.


..but they're 10" ...not 12".

Barely adequate speakers. Notorious candidates for being ditch-switched for upgrades.

It comes down to your ears. I have had great success with the MOD 12-70. It is my fave speaker. Google the 12-70 and you'll see lots of user reviews.
