just curious if there are any other amps in the twin headroom range for cleans
Quencho092 said:there's no way in hell that i could find an actual BF twin in my area. I was looking for any BF amp for the past two years in miami and i had to settle for my bandmaster. I'm getting rid of my JBLs for a hefty ebay payoff and with that cash i'm planning on a clean amp with reverb with lots of watts!
So i guess twin RI it is!

I meant i was going to get the RI to begin with, as soon as i raise 1000 bucks. It would be nice to have an acutal twin, but i know that i can't find one in my area, and the jackass who will sell it to me will try a price range like 2000 bucks.
I'll just get the RI with a warranty and consider my equipment woes over. I always wanted a big clean amp sound with no frills and i guess the twin is the ticket. In many cases, vintage could equal a headache!

The whole thing with amps like the BF Vibrolux Reverb is that it will break up sooner than the SF Vibrolux Reverb. If I were looking for definite headroom, I'd take a SF Twin over a BF Twin. Am I missing something here?
