any other wiring gurus besides artie?

as many of you know, artie has some family issues and i don't wanna trouble him with any of my wiring problems.

so here i am asking if anyone can help me with wiring up a tele and a strat.

i have decided to do away with push-pull pots on my tele and go with a superswitch for the following configuration for a jazz neck and tele hot.

1 - jazz neck in series
2 - jazz neck split
3 - jazz neck split with tele hot
4 - jazz neck in series with tele hot
5 - tele hot

as for the strat, its currently wired master volume, tone for middle pup and tone for neck pickup. is it possible to rewire it for master volume, master tone for middle and neck pup and tone for bridge pup?

will really appreciate if someone can furnish me with some diagrams to tide me through.

for "1", do you mean that the jazz will be wired internally so that its 2 coils are connected in series as a normal humbucker?

for "2", do you prefer the stud or screw coil to be active when split?

for "3", do you want the neck to be combined in parallel with the bridge? do you wnat for this combination to be humbucking?

for "4", do you want the neck to be combined in parallel with the bridge?

I think this works on paper, but I don't do this for a living and
the diagram is ascii (which may only look right in edit mode!)

The jazz is wired in series with the tele pickup which I assume
looks like the North side of the Jazz in terms of winding and
polarity.

Point a is jazz north start,
point b is jazz north finish, south finish
point c is jazz south start, tele north start
point d is tele north finish

Now on the super switch.

HOT GROUND
a c jazz in series
b c (or a hot, b ground) jazz SC
c b+d (or b+e hot, c ground) two SC parallel, hum-cancelling
a d everything in series (or b hot, d ground, two SC series
hum cancelling)
c d tele alone

I THINK that turning the thing into a triple coil like this makes the
jazz SC and tele work the way I drew it. Of course, if the tele is
South, or wound opposite direction, then it won't be hum-cancelling
and you might have to play awhile to get the phase right...

I really like the split sound of the jazz. Should be a cool guitar. Good luck.

for position 1, it will be a jazz neck in normal humbucking mode.

2, i guess it will be the same coil for position 3 where the split coil will be combined in parallel and hum-cancelling with the bridge.

its exactly what you describe for position 4.
