Reason i ask is im thinking about putting a pearly gates in the bridge of my es137 custom, the other contender is a seth. What do you guys think?

I like the idea of a seth in the neck, but i do want my bridge to be able to scream when asked to, but dont want it overly hot so i cant get nice crunchy bluesy funky sounds out of the bridge.

What's the deal with these pickups? A lot of reviews complain about the upper mids and not enough bass, but all these clips sound sweet as can be. What gives. Do you have to fight with the pickup to get this tone?

I guess alot of people don't know what the knobs on the front of an amp do.
